JDSU TG455 Tonax CATV Tone Generator is optimized for use with coaxial cabling systems, built-in F-connectors. With the Tonax CATV tone generator, cables terminated to equipment or splitters can be traced with high power coil mode. Formerly Test-Um model TG455.
JDSU TG455 Tonax CATV Tone Generator Features:
 
Optimized for use with coaxial cabling systems, built-in F-connectors
 
Cables terminated to equipment or splitters can be traced with high power coil mode
 
High current (compared to standard tone generators) makes it possible to trace terminated or even shorted cables.
 
Pots simulator, talk battery.
 
Line voltage, line current and dial tone.
 
Status indicators for off-hook and shorts
 
Low and high power tone generato
 
Probe mode for conventional tone tracing
 
Coil mode for terminated coax tracing
 
Three tone outputs
 
Constant output (100%) in all modes for the life of the battery
