| Kurth Electronic KE801 Digital Tone and Probe Kit Description: |
Kurth Electronic KE801 Digital Tone and Probe Kit is a Tester and Tracer Cable Kit with Fiber-optic VFL. The KE801 kit includes the EasyTest 800 fiber/copper line test unit and the Probe 310 tracing probe. Tracing doesn't interrupt data transmission.
The light-weight Kurth Electronic EasyTest 800 unit performs a number of testing functions in addition to providing powerful tracing tone for use with the Probe.
Telephone tests include voltage/service detection with pair polarity, short circuit check and indication of telephone line status -- LEDs quickly show if the line has service, whether the line is busy and whether the line is ringing.
Fiber tests: The circuits in the EasyTest are designed to tolerate AC power to 500 Vac, so it won't be damaged if it is accidentally connected to power circuits. The Probe 310 is a sensitive tracing tone receiver that can commonly sense a traced cable at a distance of three feet. The two step sensitivity control allows both localizing of a cable and precise detection of individual wires.
Kurth Electronic 310 Tracing Probe recognizes the signal from the 800 unit which means it can be used even when power hum or other noise are strong. A headset jack allows for easy private listening or use in noisy locations. The built-in headlight lets you see important details even in dim light. Made in Germany.
