Photonix PX-B603 - FLASHDETECTOR 1300nm Leak Detection Probe Description:

Photonix PX-B603 Leak Detection Probe will detect as little as –60dB of light. Can also be used to identify fiber ends over great distance!

By simply sweeping over a fiber, the leak detection probe will beep whenever it encounters a light loss point. Generally performing the same function as a visible laser source, the Photonix PX-B603 is primarily used in OTDR dead zone areas or splice enclosures where exact pinpointing of a fault is critical.

Photonix PX-B603 Flashdetector has the following characteristics: high sensitivity (-60dbm min.); finds leaks even in bright room light; audio / visual leak indication; works with 2khz sources (500hz available); rugged machined aluminum construction; pocket sized form; cordura holster / pocket clip; meets us navy specs. (ver. d603 kit); two year warranty.

The PX-B603 Probe will function with any 1300nM LED or LASER light source with 2kHz modulation capability (this includes the Photonix PX-Bxxx Techlite series sources).

Probe/source kits are also available, contact your Photonix Distributor for details. The leak detection probe uses a single 1/2AA Lithium cell for power and will continuously operate for over 100 hours.
