Tempo 523B-13-15 Single Mode Optical Loss Test Set contains RS232 interface for instrument configuration and data transfer to a PC-compatible workstation or serial printer. This single mode optical loss test set incorporates a stable dual 1310nm/1550nm laser source and optical power meter in a convenient self-contained package to perform insertion loss and link loss testing.

Incorporates a stable dual 1310nm/1550nm laser source and optical power meter in a convenient self-contained package to perform insertion loss and link loss testing.
 
Large, backlit LCD makes it easy to view power levels and calibration wavelengths.
 
Operation is simple due to the user-friendly keypad and intuitive controls.
 
Remote operation permits the automation of tedious or repetitive measurements.
 
Rubber boot protects against dropping.
 
Rugged and splashproof.
 
Indium-gallium-arsenide (InGaAs) photodetector.
 
PASS/FAIL testing with audible signal.
 
Manual or timer-driven data logging for periods from one second to one hour.
 
Data storage for 1,000 measurements.
 
RS232 interface for instrument configuration and data transfer to a PC-compatible workstation or serial printer.
 
Powered by a rechargeable nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) battery pack,four alkaline batteries or AC adapter.
