The Armada Pro900 Underground Cable Locator with 2kHz and 33kHz Frequencies helps the user find cables underground using 4 different methods. The Pro 900 make locating of cables, drop lines, irrigation wires an easy job.

The first mode is direct connection. While in this mode, the transmitter is connected to a cable and sends a signal of either 2kHz or 33kHz for the locator to easily pinpoint and respond to.

The second mode uses an inductive clamp. The inductive clamp is connected to a cable or conduit (where the target cable resides), and the signal will be induced into that cable. This mode is great when there is no direct access to the cable you want to trace.

The third mode is an area-scanning mode that uses an inductive antenna to transmit a signal to any cables or pipes in its range. This is done by physically placing the Pro900 on the ground (not electrical ground), as the inductive antenna is integrated into the carrying case.

The fourth and final mode is a passive mode where the locator will pick up any 50/60Hz frequency from live electrical lines.
