Seitron 7899 Combustible Gas Leak Detector
The Seitron 7899 is a handheld, highly sensitive gas leak detector for detecting low concentrations of combustible hydrocarbon gases in appliances and pipes. The leak detector features an 11” flexible gooseneck probe with a field-replaceable gas semiconductor sensor at the tip to easily get to those hard-to-reach areas. The Seitron 7899 features both audible and visual alarms.

The gas concentration is shown through the 4-digit LCD and a bar graph ranging from 0 to 100%, and readings are displayed in PPM, %Vol, or %L.E.L. on its wide screen.
The combustible gas detector features an internal buzzer to indicate the measured concentration and audible feedback on some user actions.
When the leak detector detects a gas concentration higher than zero, the "beeps" repetition rate increases according to the concentration level. In addition, the gas leak detector has a hold feature to “freeze” the current measured concentration value on the screen and an adjustable auto shut-off to preserve the battery life.
