TSI 9545-A Velocicalc Handheld Digital Air Velocity Meter with Articulated Probe is for the residential or commercial HVAC technician looking for one meter that has the capabilities to easily and accurately measure air velocity, temperature, and relative humidity simultaneously, in addition to calculating flow, wet bulb, and dew point temperature. This velocicalc air velocity meter comes with an articulated probe. It will simultaneously measure and data log different ventilation parameter for plant maintenance, commissioning, critical environment certification or just basic HVAC performance.

Articulated probe

The articulated probe on the TSI 9545-A has a knuckle joint about 8" from the tip that allows it to bend 90 degrees. This gives the probe a little more flexibility in tight or small spaces. The articulated probe with multiple sensors can measure velocity from 0 to 6000 ft/min, air temperature from 14 to 140°F, and humidity with an accuracy of 3%. In addition, using the duct size measurement and the velocity, the 9545-A can calculate volumetric flow. It can also calculate the wet bulb and dew point measurements.

The 9545-A Velocicalc can data-log over 12,700 samples with 100 test IDs either manually or by using the auto save data logging function. These data logging intervals can be from one second to 1 hour. The 9545-A allows the user to choose the time constant depending on the circumstances for each vent. The included USB cable and LogDat2 software can be used when the technician is ready to download the data to a PC for further analysis or to create a report for the client.

The handheld environmental meter is easy to use and will display up to three measurements simultaneously.

The 9545-A is made in the USA and includes a NIST Calibrated certificate.
