Fieldpiece SVG3 Electronic Micron Vacuum Gauge with Display

The Fieldpiece SVG3 is a digital micron vacuum gauge designed with the HVAC/R professional in mind.  This electronic vacuum gauge includes a Schrader depressor for reduced leakage, rate calculator, high and low pressure alarms, and a hook strap that can be hung at any angle so that the gauge tilts upwards for easy viewing.

Important Features

The SVG3 easy to read backlit dual display will show the current vacuum measurement in microns on the top line and the rate of flow or alarm stopwatch on the bottom line. The micron vacuum gauge will measure from 9,999 down to 0 microns with a resolution of 1 micron of mercury. The units of measurements can be changed to read in mmHg, mbar, mTorr, Torr, and pascals.

The SVG3 can be programmed to a high value and a low value vacuum level. When the vacuum reaches the set points, the backlight flashes and an audible alarm is generated. The built-in stopwatch starts when the alarm is activated. It will restart when the low alarm has been reached to show how long you’ve pulled a vacuum after reaching your selected micron level.  The stopwatch will stop when the high alarm has been reached to show how long it took to rise to the high alarm value. Having a built in timer on the vacuum gauge allows the technician to focus on other task while testing the system.
 
The digital vacuum gauge has a female ¼” flare fitting with a Schrader valve depressor that can be directly connected to a valve core removal tool or to a service port, reducing the potential for leaky connections. The HVAC technician will be able to get more accurate measurements of the vacuum level when the gauge is attached directly to the service port or core removal tool.

This compact and ruggedly built micron gauge has a rubberized case to withstand any job abuse. The SVG3 has been improved with a hook that attaches to the back when not in use and is better able to support the weight of hoses instead of a magnet.
