The TSI EBT731 Balometer is the perfect ergonomic, lightweight, and multipurpose capture hood for accurately and efficiently taking pressure, velocity, and flow at diffusers and grilles to make sure that the ventilation system complies with industry standards. The EBT731 features a detachable micromanometer that can be used with optional probes for additional flexibility in different situations.

The variety of well thought out features and functions of the EBT731 makes this the perfect instrument for HVAC commissioning, clean room certification, trouble shooting, as well as testing and balancing of HVAC systems. In addition, the ease of set up and the ultra-light weight (7.4 lbs) capture hood makes this easy for one person to operate. It also includes a NIST calibration and comes with a certificate.

The detachable micromanometer saves time with its auto-zeroing pressure sensor, increases accuracy with its auto-density correction, and has back-pressure compensation when used with the capture hood that ensures accurate readings.

The EBT731 micromanometer has an intuitive menu with a large, backlit graphic LCD that displays up to five simultaneous measurements, on-screen messages, and instructions.

The micromanometer for the EBT731 comes with an integrated Log-Tchebycheff duct traverse mapping application that simplifies calculations for air velocity and air volume within round or rectangular duct work.

The EBT731 comes with the 2’ x 2’ hood, but other hood sizes are available for different applications.

The EBT731 balometer includes the LogDat-Ch software that allows the capture hood and the micromanometer’s data to be transferred to a PC through the included USB cable for reporting and analysis. It also has Bluetooth communication for data transfer.

The EBT731 can also be purchased with a hood stand EBT731- STA for additional ability to reach ceilings as high as 15 feet.
